Abbey offer a wide range of doors including timber effect PVC available in a variety of wood finishes and colours.

All come with high security multi-hook locks and deadlocks as you would expect.

Abbey can provide many different styles and finishes of windows and doors within their PVCu range including:

• Internal beading - The glass is installed from the inside - unlike some windows where the glass is installed from the outside - and can be easily removed by a burglar.
• Pilkington K Glass as standard. Highly energy efficient glass that works as well as triple glazing.

• Windows in brilliant white, or woodgrain finishes in mahogany or light oak. We can also provide windows which are white on the inside (to give a brighter internal air to your home) and wood effect on the outside to be in keeping with the external style of your property.
• Fully welded and concealed joints.
• Reinforcement for additional strength.
• Corrosion resistant hardware.
• Multi-point locking.
• Easy clean/quick exit hinges will be fitted to all habitable rooms on the first floor as required by Document L (Fire Safety).
• Optional georgian bar, various leaded designs and frosted glasses available.
• New ACTIV self cleaning glass available in 2003 as an option - see below.

All windows Abbey supply and install comply with the following British Standards:

BS7412 - Covers quality issues such as materials, security, construction safety, strength, operation, and weather-tightness.

BS7413 - Specification for the high standard of extruded PVCu that the windows are constructed with.

BS7950 - Specification for enhanced security performance for casement windows.
